Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a natural antioxidant renowned for contributing to the proper functioning of the immune system and helping to protect cells from oxidative stress. A vitamin is defined as a substance essential for life. Vitamin C meets the definition more than any other. Vitamin C is the most essential vitamin of the orthomolecular nutrition.

Origin and significance of bioflavonoids:
We use “bio-identical” (biologically identical) vitamin C in our formulas, which is identical to the one we can find in food. All our vitamin C products, extracted from cereals, systematically go with citrus bioflavonoids which are natural pigments for flowers and plants. Thus, vitamin C is, in its natural environment, surrounded by orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime and tangerine flavonoids. These natural bioflavonoids improve the action and the efficiency of vitamin C in the body by boosting its absorption and minimizing its elimination.

Sustained action:
Sustained-action tablets also called “extended release action” allow for optimal dose of L-ascorbic acid and time-controlled diffusion that does not exceed the maximum limit of absorption. This process guarantees the progressive release of the vitamin over an approximate period of 6 to 8 hours. In this form, vitamin C is not likely to disturb sleep. So, it can be consumed at any time of the day and ensure optimum absorption.
